A man has died and another is in custody after an incident at Balmain East.
About 3.45pm (Thursday 28 November 2019), police were called to a home on Nicholson Street, after reports of a concern for welfare.
On arrival, police located the body of a man.
Another man has been taken into custody and is being taken to hospital with lacerations.
A crime scene has been established by officers from Leichhardt Police Area Command and inquiries continue.
