A man has died after being hit by a vehicle in Sydney's north this morning.
About 7.50am (Tuesday 15 September 2026), emergency services were called to Alleyne Street, Chatswood, after reports of a pedestrian hit by a vehicle.
The pedestrian was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics, however died at the scene.
He is yet to be formally identified.
The driver was uninjured and taken to hospital for mandatory testing.
Officers attached to North Shore Police Area Command commenced an investigation into the circumstances of the crash.
Motorists are urged to avoid the area as localised traffic diversions are in place.
A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
