Man dies after two-vehicle crash at Picnic Point

A man has died after a two-vehicle crash in Sydney's south-west on Saturday.

About 1.20pm (Saturday 6 June 2020), emergency services were called to Henry Lawson Drive, Picnic Point, following reports of a crash involving a motorcycle and a four-wheel drive.

The motorcyclist, an 87-year-old man, was taken to Liverpool Hospital in a critical condition. He later died.

The driver, a 40-year-old man, was not injured and was taken to hospital for mandatory testing.

Officers from Bankstown Police Area Command established a crime scene and commenced inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the incident.

A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
