Man stabbed - Claymore

A man is being treated in hospital after being stabbed outside a home in Sydney's south-west this morning.

Emergency services were called to Julian Way at Claymore about 1.15am (Monday 31 August 2020), and found a 27-year-old man suffering stab wounds to his chest and hands.

He was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to Liverpool Hospital where he is described as being in a stable condition.

The man has told officers from Campbelltown City Police Area Command he was injured after being robbed in the street of two mobile phones and a watch.

A crime scene has been established and a canvass of the neighbourhood is underway.
