Mandurah armed robbery arrest

Mandurah Detectives have charged a 35-year-old man as a result of their investigation into an armed incident that occurred in Mandurah yesterday afternoon, Wednesday 12 August 2020.

It will be alleged the man was armed with a brick when he threatened the 87-year-old male driver of a car parked on Allnutt Street. As the victim got out of the vehicle he fell onto the ground. He was extremely shaken by the incident.

It will alleged the 35-year-old man drove away in the victim's car which was located a short time later at a nearby shopping centre carpark.

The 35-year-old man from Greenfields has been charged with Aggravated Armed Robbery and is due to appear before the Perth Magistrates Court today, 13 August 2020.
