Mascot Childcare Centre Exceeding National Standard

Bayside Council's Mascot Child Care Centre was recently assessed as Exceeding the National Quality Standard within the National Quality Framework for Early Education and Care.

The National Quality Standard sets a high national benchmark for early childhood education and care and outside school hours care services in Australia.

Childcare services are assessed against seven quality areas that are important to outcomes for children. These areas include children's health and safety, physical environment, staffing arrangements, relationships with children, collaborative partnerships with families and communities and governance and leadership.

Mascot Child Care is one of three Council-operated childcare centres that cater for children aged between six weeks and five years old. Each centre provides quality education and care programs in regulated, safe and caring environments that support play-based learning designed to deliver the best outcomes for every child.
