Medicare Advantage Choices Amid New Health Conditions

About the Study: In this cohort study of more than 1 million Medicare Advantage beneficiaries, developing a new complex medical condition was associated with higher disenrollment, particularly to traditional Medicare. Disenrollment increased with the number of new conditions and was higher among beneficiaries living in states with Medigap guaranteed issue and community rating protections.
