Officers from the Major Crash Investigation Section are seeking information regarding a fatal crash in Middle Swan on Tuesday 23 May 2023.
About 12:30pm, a Nissan X-Trail SUV was being driven north on Lloyd Street. At the same time a Ford Focus hatch was being driven south on the same street. The two vehicles collided head-on with each other near the intersection of Francis Street.
The 81-year-old male driver of the Nissan X Trail was taken by St John WA to Royal Perth Hospital, where he died yesterday, Wednesday 24 May 2023.
The 61-year-old female driver of the Ford Focus did not receive any injuries.
