The Honourable Ginette Petitpas Taylor, Minister of Official Languages, and Minister responsible for ACOA, concluded a successful three-day visit to Boston for the 2023 Seafood Expo North America (SENA). The Minister promoted Atlantic Canadian fish and seafood producers, met with New England business leaders to discuss cross-border investment opportunities, and worked to raise the profile of Atlantic Canada’s fish and seafood sector in the North American marketplace.
The Minister met with Atlantic Canadian fish and seafood exporter producers, as well as international buyers working to meet growing demand in the US market. Companies attending this year’s Expo focused on expanding sales through the introduction of new products, and highlighted new packaging and processing innovations that give Atlantic Canadian exporters a competitive advantage on the world stage.
