Missing 14yo boy at Burpengary

Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate a 14-year-old boy who was last seen in Burpengary yesterday afternoon (Thursday, June 4).

The boy was last seen in Stradbroke Street, Burpengary East at around 5.30pm and made contact with family at 11.15pm claiming to be in the Stafford Heights area.

He is described as Aboriginal, approximately 178cms tall with a proportionate build, short dark brown hair and brown eyes. He was wearing a green t-shirt, black jumper, black track pants and a black back pack.

The boy is known to use public transport, particularly trains, and is known to frequent the Brisbane CBD. He also has associates in South Brisbane, Strathpine and the Moreton district.

Anyone who has seen the boy or has any information in relation to his whereabouts is urged to immediately contact police.
