Missing 74-year-old womanin Brisbane City

Police are seeking public assistance to locate a 74-year-old woman reported missing from Hawthorne this afternoon.

Johanna Burnet was last seen at a residence on Dutton Street around 2pm and has not been seen since.

She is known to visit areas around Bulimba, Southbank and Brisbane City.

Police hold grave concerns for her welfare as she suffers from a medical condition and may appear confused when approached.

Johanna is described as Caucasian in appearance with short light brown hair. She was last seen wearing black trackpants, a light red t-shirt, dark jacket and black shoes. She was also carrying a backpack.

Anyone who may information on the whereabouts of Johanna is urged to contact police.
