The City of Kingston is inviting Expressions of Interest from mobile vendors to operate across seven prime locations along our foreshore and at Bicentennial Park.

The initiative aims to enhance some of Kingston's most popular outdoor spaces, supporting local businesses while offering more choice for residents and visitors enjoying the coastline and parklands.

Mayor Georgina Oxley said the opportunity would help bring even more life and vibrancy to the community's favourite destinations.

"Kingston's foreshore and parks are some of the most loved spaces in our city, and we're proud to continue investing in ways to make them even better," Cr Oxley said.

"This is about creating great experiences for our community, whether that's grabbing a coffee by the beach, enjoying an ice cream with the family, or discovering something new while spending time outdoors."

Council is seeking a diverse mix of vendors, including food and beverage operators and those offering beach and wellness-related services suited to the coastal environment.

Cr Oxley said the Expression of Interest also presents an exciting opportunity for local businesses.

"We know small and mobile businesses play an important role in our local economy, and this is a fantastic chance to grow a business in some of Kingston's busiest and most scenic locations," she said.

"By activating these spaces, we're supporting local enterprise while making our foreshore and parks even more welcoming and enjoyable for everyone."

The opportunity includes seven designated sites across the municipality, located in high-traffic areas where the community gathers year-round.
