Council has endorsed the draft Cabonne Interim Molong Water Supply and Sewerage Servicing Strategic Review (2026) for public exhibition, inviting community feedback on the proposed infrastructure needed to support Molong's future growth. The review assesses the water supply and sewerage upgrades required to accommodate growth identified in the Molong Settlement Strategy 2021-2041, including the proposed East Molong (Golf Course Estate) rezoning. It identifies the infrastructure required, estimated costs, developer contribution requirements, and long-term financial viability of servicing up to 1,200 equivalent tenements. As the review is interim, it may be updated if further rezoning investigations result in material changes to the proposed development yield or infrastructure needs.
