Monash Subjects Rank Top 30 in 2026 Global Rankings

Monash University has ranked in the top 100 across all 11 disciplines in the Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings by Subject 2026, with two subjects placing in the top 30 worldwide.

Monash ranked 18th globally for Education Studies and 27th for Medical and Health, with Law and Physical Sciences having the biggest rises compared to the previous year, rising 18 and 11 places respectively.

and Economics, Computer Science, Education Studies, Engineering, Law, Life Sciences, Medical and Health, Physical Sciences, Psychology and Social Sciences.

Monash improved its rank in eight out of the 11 disciplines compared to last year.

This latest rankings success, the first for 2026, represents a marked improvement from the previous year and continues to demonstrate the University's global standing in education and research excellence.

Last year, the University placed =36th in the QS World University Rankings 2026 and 38th in the US News and World Report Best Global Universities 2025-26.
