More Than 5,000 To Explore Their Future At UOW Open Day

Wollongong campus welcomes prospective students and families to discover degree programs, scholarships and student life

The University of Wollongong (UOW) will welcome more than 5,000 prospective students and their families to its Wollongong campus for Open Day on Saturday 27 June. The annual event gives visitors from across the Illawarra, Greater Sydney, Shoalhaven, South Coast and beyond the chance to see for themselves why UOW's student experience is one of Australia's best.

UOW Vice-Chancellor and President Professor G.Q. Max Lu AO said Open Day was the best way to experience what sets UOW apart.

"Open Day is the perfect opportunity for anyone thinking about their future to come to campus, meet our staff and students, and picture themselves here," Professor Lu said.

"Whether you are a school leaver, a mature-age student returning to study, a postgraduate, or a parent supporting your child, there is something for everyone. I look forward to welcoming future students and their families to campus and showing them how we support everyone to find their path and thrive."

Open Day offers an interactive experience where visitors can explore world-class facilities, talk one-on-one with academics and current UOW students, and get a real feel for the personalised student experience the University is known for.
