MyMedicare webinar less than week away

Australian Medical Association

AMA members can put questions about MyMedicare, the government's voluntary patient enrolment model to AMA and Department of Health representatives at a webinar next Thursday.

Practice registrations for MyMedicare are open now, and there are just two months before patients can start registering with their GP. Patients will only be able to nominate you as their usual GP if your practice is registered.

Vice President, Dr Danielle McMullen and Simon Cotterell, First Assistant Secretary of the Department of Health and Aged Care Primary Care Division, will be on hand to answer your questions on MyMedicare at the AMA webinar on Thursday 10 August 7.00-7.45pm AEST.

You can submit questions about MyMedicare before the webinar at the link below. We will endeavour to answer as many questions as possible during the webinar.

The AMA will continue to work to ensure that the rollout of MyMedicare meets the needs of patients and GPs. We will also continue our strong advocacy regarding the importance of improved MBS fee-for-service funding. Your questions and feedback at the webinar help us advocate for you.
