NDSS Health Professional Portal now available

The National Diabetes Services Scheme (NDSS) is an Australian Government initiative administered by Diabetes Australia.

The NDSS supports more than 1.4 million Australians with diabetes through product distribution, education and information to assist with the self‑management of diabetes.

The NDSS Health Professional Portal is now available and enables authorised health professionals to register and process NDSS patient forms online in near real time, with the NDSS registration number automatically issued to the patient via text within minutes.

The NDSS Health Professional Portal has been designed to provide a quicker and more efficient process to register and connect patients with the NDSS for access to subsidised diabetes products.

Health professionals who are authorised to certify NDSS forms can now:

  • complete a User profile.
