Attorney General John Quigley has made four new appointments to the State Administrative Tribunal (SAT), increasing its membership to deal with a heavier workload.
Three members have also been reappointed to the SAT. In all, the Tribunal's non-judicial membership has been increased by two to 20.
The two extra positions have been funded by the Department of Justice to handle a bigger caseload of guardianship and administration matters.
The full-time appointments are for a five-year term and see the SAT's membership comprised of 14 women and six men.
John O'Sullivan and Dr Rebecca Wilson have been appointed senior members, with David Atkin reappointed as a senior member.
Anita King and Carol Conley have been appointed ordinary members, and Natasha Owen-Conway and Rosetta Petrucci have been reappointed.
Mr O'Sullivan, a former social worker, has been a legal practitioner since 1993 with the State Solicitor's Office and former Crown Law Department, and undertook secondments with WA Police. He has been a Magistrate since 2017, most recently as State Mining Warden.
Dr Wilson has been a sessional member of the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal, a principal of her own mediation business and director of Australian Mediator Standards Board. Her senior roles include General Counsel to the Victorian Government Solicitor's Office.
Ms King, an accredited mediator, has practiced law in South Australia since 1995. She has been a member of the South Australian Civil and Administrative Tribunal and the National (Commonwealth) Sports Tribunal.
Ms Conley's record of service has been in the former Crown Solicitor's Office and State Solicitor's Office since 1996, rising to Senior Assistant State Solicitor. She has undertaken legislative projects and counsel work across the Federal, Family, District and Supreme Courts.
