New Drought Insights Added To My Climate View

BOM

A new enhancement to My Climate View is helping farmers and agricultural professionals better understand how drought is changing across Australia.

Developed in partnership with farmers and their advisors, the updated feature offers insights into different aspects of drought at a local level, drawing on 60 years of historical data and future climate projections.

This added feature enables users to see how droughts have affected their locations over time and explore the impact of projected climate changes into the future.

By presenting historical data and future climate projections in one place, the tool helps users make better-informed decisions that enhance their drought and climate change resilience.

My Climate View is delivered by Australia's national science agency, CSIRO and the Bureau of Meteorology under the Climate Services for Agriculture program through funding from the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry's Future Drought Fund.

The latest update is part of an ongoing commitment to ensure the My Climate View meets the real needs of those who use it most.
