DevelopmentWA has announced the appointment of It's in the Bag Promotions and Eventsas the new operator of the popular Manning Road Farmers Market, reinforcing its commitment to ensuring the market's continued success.
It's in the Bag Promotions and Events is owned and operated by seasoned Perth event professional Roz Collins, who brings a strong track record in delivering inclusive, community-focused markets that support local business and enhance neighbourhood liveability.
DevelopmentWA sincerely thanks MarketLife for stepping in at short notice to manage the market since December 2024, and for their efforts in maintaining a vibrant and well-loved community space during this transition.
This new appointment provides long-term stability for the Manning Road Farmers Market, which attracts more than 3,500 visitors each Saturday and supports more than 80 local growers, makers and small businesses.
The Bentley Redevelopment Project is a major 30-hectare urban renewal effort set to deliver up to 1,000 new homes, parks, community amenities, and an expanded tree canopy for Western Australians.
This initiative will help to foster a sense of community, encourage local enterprise, and create a welcoming destination for residents and visitors alike during the project's transformation.
The Manning Road Farmers Market operates every Saturday from 7.15am to 12.15pm at Hedley Park in Bentley, with It's in the Bag Promotions and Eventsofficially taking over operations from Saturday 5 July 2025.
As stated by Planning and Lands Minister John Carey:
