Campbelltown residents can now head outside and get moving with the completion of new Outdoor Fitness projects, located across four different locations in the Campbelltown LGA.

The new fitness equipment can be accessed by the community for free, making it easier for people of all ages to stay active in their local neighbourhood.

"This new equipment is designed to be accessible to everyone in Campbelltown and makes it easier for residents to make the most out of their local parks," Mayor of Campbelltown, Cr Darcy Lound said.

"This project gives people more opportunities across Campbelltown to incorporate movement and exercise into their daily lives and reinforces Council's commitment to create welcoming and inclusive public spaces," said Cr Lound.

"It's fantastic to see this investment delivering practical benefits right across Campbelltown, giving local families and residents more free opportunities to get outdoors, stay active and enjoy our local parks," said Member for Campbelltown, Greg Warren MP.

"The NSW Government is proud to partner with Campbelltown City Council to support projects like this that make our neighbourhoods such great places to live, while delivering facilities our community can enjoy every day," said Mr Warren.

Locations include:

  • Clematis Reserve, Macquarie Fields
  • Eagle Farm Reserve, Eagle Vale
  • Marsden Park, Campbelltown
  • Ophelia Reserve, Rosemeadow

Outdoor Fitness Facilities Program is proudly funded by the NSW Government through the Western Sydney Infrastructure Grants Program.
