We hope community members and visitors got a chance to enjoy the recently completed elements of the Alexandra Rotary Park and Visitor Activity Precinct during the holiday break. The new playground, pathways, shelters, skate park and lighting can now be enjoyed by all. Whether you enjoy a lovely morning stroll through the area or it's a regular hangout for you and your kids, it's a great space to walk, play or skate.
Additional works will occur after the summer school holiday period, including the construction of the pump track in Hec Ingram Reserve and some smaller skate park elements.
The new plants and landscaped areas will be regularly maintained and watered over the coming months to help them thrive. We appreciate our community's help in keeping the plants healthy by staying off the mulched and taped off areas.
