Council will be doing night work on Mullumbimby Road between Manns Road and the Argyle Street roundabout this Monday, 14 September.

Crews will be on site from around 5:30pm and will work through until 6am.

The work involves deep patching of asphalt to strengthen the surface of the road in preparation for sealing in November.

There will be traffic control in place and short delays for drivers.

Workers will make every effort to minimise noise and disruption, but residents may hear some low-level construction noise. Council apologises in advance for this.

The final seal of the length of Mullumbimby Road and line-marking will be done in November, marking the completion of what has been a challenging project.

There will be delays for drivers and changes to traffic flows during this part of the project which will take several days.

Electronic messaging signs will be in place prior to the start of this work to alert drivers of delays and possible detours.
