Nillumbik Christmas: Shop Local, Win Prizes

Our Shop in our Shire promotion is back for the festive season. Join the fun of Nillumbik's 12 Days of Christmas for your chance to win a $500 gift card to spend at the locally owned Nillumbik business of your choice

Pick up a Shop in our Shire: Nillumbik's 12 Days of Christmas postcard from your favourite local business (or download one from our website) and get your Christmas sorted by shopping the 12 themes. Check off a theme when you spend $20 or more at a locally owned business. At the end of the promotion, register your purchases online to go in the draw. Each theme shopped gives you one entry.

Themes include gifts and personal shopping; hospitality; outdoor and flora, and pampering and wellness. List the name of the business you shopped at, retain your proof of purchase, and enter the draw by Friday 19 December.

Mayor John Dumaresq said the Shop in our Shire campaign has become a favourite among local shoppers and businesses alike.

"Nillumbik is a great place to do your Christmas shopping," Cr Dumaresq said.

"These themed categories make sorting Christmas shopping easy, and every dollar spent helps support our unique, local businesses.."

Our Shop in our Shire: Nillumbik's 12 Days of Christmas campaign begins today. Plus, when you're shopping local in the coming weeks, keep an eye out for our Nillumbik's 12 Days of Christmas quartet, whose singing will help you get into the festive spirit! The quartet performances will be:
