Police searching for a man missing on Rakiura Stewart Island are asking for help from the public.
Manfred Herzoff, age 71, has not been seen since Friday morning and there are concerns for his wellbeing. A search and rescue operation to find him is underway.
He was last known to be wearing shorts, and a red shirt over a white T-shirt. He also wears glasses.
Residents and visitors to the island are asked to please report any information or sightings to Police, and also check their properties for any sign of Mr Herzoff.
