NZ police seek help to find missing person at Rangataua

Police are appealing to the public to help locate 36-year-old Kelly Righton who has been reported missing from Rangataua.

Kelly was last seen at around 11pm on Sunday, 24 April and Police have been making a number of extensive enquiries to locate her.

Police Search and Rescue staff along with local LandSAR volunteers from Taihape, Whanganui and Ruapehu have been searching the area around Rangataua. In addition to this, an aerial search is also being conducted.

Efforts to locate Kelly have been unsuccessful and Police are now appealing to the public to help.

Kelly is described as being of slim build, 165cm tall, and is believed to be wearing loose, leaf patterned pants, a white singlet, and dark brown, leather, mid-calf boots similar to the pair photographed. She is also likely to have a dark brown, thin blue striped/checkered Swandri coat with her.

Her family and Police are concerned for her welfare and want to make sure she is safe, so are asking anyone who has seen her to contact Police immediately.

Anyone with information about her whereabouts or wellbeing is urged to call Police on 105, quoting file number 220425/5251.
