OAS Council Tackles Crime, Marks Violence Against Women Day

The Permanent Council of the Organization of American States (OAS) will hold a regular meeting on Wednesday, November 17, at 09:30 EST (14:30 GMT) in the Simón Bolívar Room at OAS headquarters in Washington, DC to discuss "Combating transnational organized crime and promoting and protecting human rights in the Americas," and to commemorate the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, among other topics.
