Farmers are invited to full-day workshops in Murrayville and Koondrook this February to use accounting software Xero and discover strategies, tools and tips to increase office efficiency.
As part of the Victorian Government's Drought Support Package, the Agriculture Victoria workshops are led by experienced accountant and rural farmer Carmen Quade from Agrifocused.
Agriculture Victoria Grains Industry Officer Darryl Pearl said the workshops are ideal for any farmer seeking to maximise their understanding of Xero and learn some tips to make office work easier.
'Xero is a popular accounting software so our free workshops are filling up fast with Carmen,' Mr Pearl said.
'Participants will learn key features such as emailing invoices, how to attach statements to line items, when to set up rules and how to track inventory such as fuel, grain and livestock.
'In the second part of the workshop, Carmen will show how to set up emails, manage receipts and paper records, use cloud-based storage and keep everything current.'
The workshops are limited to 20 participants. Register now.
