Officer charged - North West Metropolitan Region 19 May

A police officer has been charged after allegedly accessing restricted information without authorisation.

The 47-year-old male senior constable, who is attached to a command in the North West Metropolitan Region, was issued a Court Attendance Notice yesterday (Tuesday 18 May 2021) for three counts access/modify restricted data held in computer.

Police will allege in court that the officer accessed restricted information in May 2020.

He is due to appear in Downing Centre Local Court on Tuesday 13 July 2021.
