Terrific deals across a range of categories await customers including mobile, home internet, devices and accessories.

Optus has opened the doors for customers on a new experiential and immersive superstore with the launch of its flagship store in Bourke Street, Melbourne.

The Victorian store will revolutionise in-store experiences for our customers across six interactive zones:

Gaming

Health and Fitness

Garage and Outdoor

Home offices

Lounge and living spaces

Home Security

With World Cup fever sweeping the nation, fans visiting Optus in Bourke Street can master the art of the perfect football header with the exclusive Optus Sport virtual reality experience, created in collaboration with Matildas star Steph Catley.

Gamers can also kick back and take aim at the latest Rocket League football cloud gaming challenge inside the ultimate lounge-back gaming retreat.

Optus Maurice McCarthy, Managing Director Customer Success, said the flagship Bourke Street Store would set a new standard for Optus customers connectivity experiences and define the future of shopping with us.

We are creating a cultural, community, and tech destination that is set apart from the traditional telco in-store model.

Customers can explore our ever-changing shoppers playground and be inspired by the latest health and fitness tech, entertainment, gaming and home solutions, all supported by our Optus experts.

A digital concierge will ensure shoppers can use QR code tech to minimise waiting time in queues and direct customers to personalised in-store expertise and advice.

Located centrally in the CBD shopping precinct, the 435 square metre store was designed to be uniquely Melbourne with customers journeying through zones and spaces that re-imagine the citys iconic laneways.

The dcor will feature Melbourne street artist Adrian Doyles graffiti-inspired murals featuring famous Australian personalities.

A dedicated hub caters to small business owners tech needs alongside the ultimate home office set-up environment.

The flagship stores range of products also boast the latest headphones, VR headsets, speakers and audio accessories.

Optus Managing Director Marketing and Revenue, Matt Williams, said: The new super-store experience will shine a spotlight on the best that Optus Sport, SubHub and the Living Network have to offer.

We have expanded our range of products and services in the new Bourke Street store to broader home business solutions, more audio and sound, handsets and accessories and greater home living connectivity.

With more Australians watching their environmental footprint, there will also be sustainability zones dedicated to outdoor water management, electric vehicle charging and cameras.

Construction decisions have considered sustainability, using recyclable steel and FSC certified timber joinery, low power LED lighting and lighting sensors to reduce power consumption.
