OSCE Secretary General Feridun H. Sinirlioğlu concluded his visit to New York City, where he attended the high-level week of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly.
"As geopolitical divides deepen and the security environment becomes more volatile, we must ensure that multilateralism and diplomatic engagement remain effective tools in upholding our universal principles. These principles must apply to everyone, everywhere, so that we can effectively address our shared challenges," Secretary General Sinirlioğlu said.
During the week, the Secretary General met with United Nations Secretary General António Guterres, 81st President of the General Assembly Khalilur Rahman, and Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan of Armenia, as well as Foreign Ministers Jeyhun Bayramov of Azerbaijan, Elmedin Konaković of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Maka Botchorishvili of Georgia, Mukhtar Tileuberdi of Kazakhstan, Sergey Lavrov of the Russian Federation, and Marko Djuric of Serbia.
