Park and Ride shuttle bus makes visiting Wilson Botanic Park easy

The ever-popular Wilson Botanic Park Berwick, recently awarded National Park of the Year by Parks & Leisure Australia, is one of the City of Casey's premier recreational spaces. This means the park does get quite busy, especially once the sun comes out, and while the recent Wilson Botanic master plan is addressing the issue of car parking going forward, it is still true that currently parking at Wilson Botanic Park can be a challenge during busy periods. Thankfully, we've got your back!

To ensure easy and safe access to the park we encourage you and your family to use our free 'Park and Ride' shuttle service from Federation University to the visitor's centre at the park.

'Park and Ride' is offered to Wilson Botanic Park visitors for free. The service operates on weekends from 10.00 am to 5.00 pm during the peak season until 31 March 2023. Visitors are encouraged to park at Federation University, which is located at 100 Clyde Road, Berwick. Once you arrive at Federation University, available car spaces are marked out and from there you can make your way to the 'Park and Ride' shuttle bus stop. The bus will drive you to the park, dropping you off at the Visitor Centre.

Once you have finished your day at the park, simply head to the designated bus boarding zone and board the next bus to be taken back to your car at Federation Uni.

The last shuttle departs the park at 5.00 pm each day. It's important to be aware that the last shuttle bus of the day is the last opportunity to get back to your car.

The 'Park and Ride' shuttle bus allows for prams, wheelchairs and picnic baskets etc., but please note that pets are not permitted. Booster seats for 4-year-old children and over are supplied on the shuttle bus, to be fitted by the parents.
