A pedestrian is in a critical condition after being hit by two vehicles in Sydney north west this afternoon.
About 5.40pm today (Sunday 17 May 2026), emergency services responded to reports that a pedestrian had been struck by two cars on Walker Street, Quakers Hill.
NSW Ambulance paramedics treated the 20-year-old male pedestrian at the scene before he was taken to Westmead Hospital in a critical condition.
Officers from Riverstone Police Area Command secured a crime scene and were told that the man had been hit by two vehicles – a silver Toyota Kluger and a white Toyota Camry – in quick succession that were both travelling north bound.
Following the impact neither vehicle stopped and proceeded to drive from the scene.
A short time later police attended a home on Alana Avenue, Quakers Hill, after a 20-year-old man contacted Triple Zero. At the location police located the Camry and a secondary crime scene was established. The 20-year-old man has been taken to Blacktown Hospital for mandatory testing.
At the same time the driver of the Kluger drove to the scene in Walker Street and spoke with police. The 44-male driver of the Kluger was taken for mandatory testing at Hawkesbury Hospital. The Kluger has been seized for forensic examination.
Specialist police from the Crash Investigation Unit are currently on scene.
None of the parties are believed to be known to one another.
