Penn State faculty and staff are invited to join colleagues, researchers and leaders from across sectors at the 2026 Penn State Impact Forum, a two-day event focused on building partnerships that advance innovation, workforce development and community impact. The forum will be held Sept. 10 and 11 at CYTO - PHL in the Cira Centre in Philadelphia.
Registration is open through Aug. 31 and includes access to all conference sessions, workshops, networking events and meals. Faculty and staff can register online and explore the conference agenda and speakers at the Penn State Impact Forum website.
The forum offers an opportunity to engage with leaders from higher education, industry, government, philanthropy and community organizations while exploring ideas and partnerships designed to strengthen workforce readiness, innovation, economic growth and social impact.
Built around the theme, "Opportunity at the Speed of Trust," the Penn State Impact Forum will examine how trusted partnerships can accelerate innovation, create economic opportunity and address complex challenges facing communities across Pennsylvania and beyond. The event continues the legacy of the Global Impact Forum (TGIF), which launched in 2024, and expands that foundation by creating greater opportunities for collaboration and engagement among leaders within the University and beyond.
During the two days, attendees will participate in keynote conversations, panel discussions, student spotlights, networking events and workshops. The forum is organized around four themes: Trust in Innovation, Trust in Partnerships, Trust in Communities and Trust in the Future. The first day will focus on artificial intelligence and innovation, and day two will emphasize workforce development and opportunity.
