Sales transactions in Perth last week were up 12.4 per cent on the previous week, with REIWA members reporting 699 transactions. A closer look shows house sales were up 19.4 per cent compared to the week prior, unit sales were down 17.5 per cent and land sales were up 33.9 per cent.

There were 7,352 properties for sale in Perth at the end of last week, which is similar to the previous week. This can be attributed to house listings increasing 1.1 per cent compared to the week prior, unit listings increasing 0.9 per cent and listings for vacant land decreasing 4.9 per cent.
Last week's total figure of properties available for sale is 7.3 per cent higher than four weeks ago and 153.1 per cent higher than levels seen a year ago.
In Perth's rental market, REIWA members reported there were 2,023 properties for rent in Perth at the end of last week, which is 1.2 per cent down on the week prior. Last week's rental listings figure is 10.8 per cent lower than four weeks ago and 8.5 per cent lower than a year ago.

REIWA members reported 635 properties leased last week, which is 4.2 per cent lower than the previous week, 26.7 per cent higher than four weeks ago and 9.3 per cent lower than a year ago.
