Perth Welcomes AusMedtech Conference For First Time

  • Australia's leading medtech conference has come to Perth
  • The conference begins today at Crown Towers and will run until 21 May
  • This is the first time Perth has hosted AusMedtech

AusMedtech will bring together all aspects of the medtech community both nationally and internationally for a three-day conference opening today in Perth.

This is the first time the premier medtech conference has been hosted in Western Australia and will feature a wide array of program sessions, networking opportunities and put local medtech on the world stage.

The conference brings together innovators, researchers, clinicians, investors and government partners to progress medical technology.

The Cook Labor Government has sponsored Startup Alley with eight AusMedtech exhibition pods set to feature local medtech startups - giving them the opportunity to showcase their ideas to an international crowd.

Site tours to important WA medtech related areas are also taking place during the conference.

These include touring the WA Country Health Service Command Centre, the Australian Space Automation, AI and Robotics Control Complex along with the QEII Medical Centre and Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research.
