Planned water interruption for Bucketts Way

MidCoast Council

Residents along a nine-kilometre stretch of the Bucketts Way will experience an interruption to their water supply on Wednesday 30 June while MidCoast Council performs water main maintenance along the busy road.

The town water supply will be isolated at various points between the Purfleet roundabout and Bootawa Dam Road while the work is being completed, with the interruption expected to begin at 8:30am and finish around 2:30pm.

"This work is part of our ongoing maintenance program and will reduce the risk of any unplanned and unwanted water outages occurring along this stretch of the Bucketts Way," said Council's Director of Infrastructure and Engineering Services, Rob Scott.

"While we know the interruption will still cause some level of inconvenience, it's important we complete this work in a planned way to reduce the risks of a much longer interruption in the future."

Any customers who experience issues as a result of the planned shutdown are urged to contact Council's Customer Service Team on 7955 7777.
