Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives are investigating a collision that has left an 18-year-old motorcyclist with life-threatening injuries in Bulleen last night.
A silver Lexus IS250 and black Honda CB 650R motorbike collided at the intersection of Thompsons Road and Kenneth Street about 7.55pm.
The Lower Templestowe man was taken to hospital where he remains in a critical condition.
The Lexus driver, a 22-year-old Eaglemont woman, was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
Investigators are keen to speak to anyone that witnessed or have dashcam footage of the motorcycle travelling along Thompsons Road, between Manningham Road and the Eastern Freeway, prior to the collision.
