Police are appealing for public assistance to locate an elderly man missing from Sydney's west.
Augustin Guarinoni, aged 80, was last seen in the vicinity of Ware Street and Spencer Street, Fairfield, about 12.50pm today (Thursday 8 December 2022).
When he failed to meet his wife, police attached to Fairfield City Police Area Command commenced inquiries to locate him.
Police and family hold concerns for his welfare due to his dementia and age.
Augustin is described as being of Mediterranean/Middle Eastern appearance, about 170cm tall, of medium build with brown hair.
He was last seen wearing a blue jacket, long pants and carrying a red shopping cart.
