Police Appeal To Locate Girl Missing From Leichhardt 12 April

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a girl missing from Sydney's inner west.

Samara Bohan Jones, aged 14, was last seen at Petersham Railway Station, about 10.30am on Wednesday (10 April 2024).

When she failed to return home and concerns were raised for her welfare, officers attached to Leichhardt Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into her whereabouts.

Police hold serious concerns for Samara's welfare due to her young age.

She is described as being of Aboriginal/Torres Strait Island appearance, about 174cm tall with slim build and black hair in a slick back bun.

She was last seen wearing a black hoodie with white writing, and black shorts with rips.

Samara is known to frequent Central Train Station, Pitt Street in the CBD, and surrounding areas.

Anyone with information into her whereabouts is urged to call police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
