Dinosaurs Uncovered at WA Museum Boola Bardip will take visitors through immersive prehistoric environments, interactive fossil dig sites, with life-sized dinosaur reconstructions and digital recreations to reveal ancient animals and ecosystems.

An original exhibition by the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County and AGB Creative, Dinosaurs Uncovered is an interactive experience to bring prehistoric worlds to life.

Featured in the exhibition is a full-sized Quetzalcoatlus northropi - or quetz to its friends - reconstruction. At approximately five metres tall, the striking model will feature prominently within the exhibition's reconstruction zone, alongside skeletal reconstructions of a juvenile Tyrannosaurus rex and Plotosaurus.

Alongside the exhibition, a season-long program of activities and special events will extend the themes of Dinosaurs Uncovered. Highlights will include Late Nights at Boola Bardip, a weekly adults-only Friday night series running throughout the exhibition season.

Each week, Late Nights at Boola Bardip will feature a changing mix of live music and artist residencies, bite-sized talks, performances and creative experiences, with after-hours entry to Dinosaurs Uncovered included.

The broader program will also include expert talks, guided tours, school holiday activities and nightly Illuminate projection experiences.

Tickets go on sale to the general public on Thursday, 22 October with WA Museum Members receiving presale access from Tuesday, 20 October 2026. Standard tickets are $30, concession tickets $25 and junior tickets $20, with children aged four and under admitted free.

The exhibition will run from Saturday, 21 November 2026 until Monday, 26 April 2027.
