Police appeal to locate girl missing from Bexley

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a girl missing in Sydney's south.

Ngaire Rose Hunia, aged 12, was last seen on Forest Road, Bexley, about 8am on Friday (9 December 2022).

When she was unable to be contacted, Ngaire was reported missing to officers from St George Police Area Command yesterday evening (Saturday 10 December 2022).

Ngaire is known to frequent Hurstville and Miranda Westfield centres, Gunnamatta Bay and the general Cronulla area.

She is described as being of Pacific Islander appearance, of slim build, about 170cm tall with black hair. She was last seen wearing a light blue top, dark blue shorts and white sneakers carrying a black bag.

Police and family hold concern for her welfare due to her age.
