Police appeal to locate man missing at Mittagong

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from the state's Southern Highlands.

Daniel Manning, aged 50, was last seen at a home on Sunset Point Drive, Mittagong on Monday 15 January 2024.

When he was unable to be contacted, officers from Campsie Police Area Command were notified and immediately commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

About 4.30am on Tuesday 16 January 2024, Daniel's vehicle was located on Avon Dam Road near the Hume Motorway, Bargo.

Police hold serious concerns for Daniel's welfare.

He is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 180cm tall, of thin build, with short brown hair and blue eyes.

Daniel is known to frequent the Mittagong, Campsie, Punchbowl and Umina areas.

Anyone with information into his whereabouts is urged to contact Campsie Police Station or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
