Police appeal to locate man missing from Balmain 18 December

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from Balmain.

Hermann Szlagowski, aged 66, was last seen at an aged care home on Thames Street, Balmain, about 4.30pm today (Sunday 18 December 2022).

After he was unable to contacted, officers attached to Leichardt commenced inquiries to locate him.

Police hold concerns for his welfare due to Hermann living with dementia and other conditions that require medication.

Hermann is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 160cm tall, of medium build, with grey hair.

He was last seen wearing a dark blue or black jumper, with long black pants and black shoes.

Hermann is known to frequent the Balmain, Sydney CBD, Inner West and Blacktown areas.
