Police appeal to locate man missing from Blue Mountains 7 December

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from the Blue Mountains.

Michael Morrell, aged 46, was last seen about 6.20pm yesterday (Tuesday 6 December 2022) at Katoomba train station.

When he could not be located, officers from Blue Mountains Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police and family have concerns for his welfare as he lives with a medical condition that requires treatment and is non-verbal.

Michael is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 170cm tall, of slim build, with short dark hair and a scruffy dark beard.

He was last seen wearing a dark coloured turtle neck top, dark coloured pants and black boots.

He is known to frequent Katoomba, The Rocks, Darling Harbour, Coogee and Marrickville.
