Police appeal to locate man missing from Zetland

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man currently missing in Inner Sydney.

Lincoln Miyamoto, aged 70, was last seen at a unit on Kingsborough Way, Zetland about 8.30am today (Saturday 25 February 2022).

When he failed to return and could not be located, officers attached to South Sydney Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Lincoln is a Brazilian national who has lived in Australia since January 2023. Family and police hold concerns for his welfare as he lives with a brain injury and does not speak English.

Lincoln is described as being of Asian appearance, about 160cm tall, of medium build and with short grey hair.

He was last seen wearing a dark coloured t-shirt, beige shorts and dark blue 'Mizuno' sneakers.

Lincoln is not familiar with the area; however, is known to regularly walk to Green Square Railway Station and East Village Shopping Centre.

Anyone who sees him or has information about his whereabouts is urged to contact local police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
