Police appeal to locate missing girl at Toongabbie

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a girl missing from Sydney's west.

Riyala Aldridge, aged 15, was last seen leaving her home on Elke Way, Toongabbie, about 7.50am yesterday (Tuesday 13 September 2022).

She was reported missing to officers from Blacktown Police Area Command when she failed to return home from school.

Police and family hold concern for her welfare due to her age.

Riyala is described as being of Mediterranean/Middle Eastern appearance, about 167cm tall, of slim build with black hair and brown eyes.

She was last seen wearing a light blue shirt with maroon collar and carrying a black backpack with 'Kari' written on it.

Police believe she may be in the Sydney CBD area.
