Police appeal to locate missing man at Penshurst

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from Sydney's south.

Gavin Cheng, aged 29, was last seen at an address on Rosebery Street, Penshurst, about 1.30pm on Sunday (29 October 2023).

When he was unable to be located or contacted, officers from St George Police Area Command were notified on Tuesday (31 October 2023) and commenced inquiries to locate him.

Police have since received information Gavin may have travelled to Bondi via public transport on Sunday (29 October 2023).

Gavin is described as being of Asian appearance, thin build, 170cm tall, with short black hair and brown eyes.

He was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, black cargo shorts, holding a blue jacket and a green Woolworths eco bag.

Gavin is known to frequent the Vaucluse, Rose Bay, and North Bondi areas.

Anyone with information into Gavin's whereabouts is urged to contact St George Police Area Command or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
