Police appeal to locate missing teenager at Forster

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a teenage girl missing on the state's Mid North Coast.

Sophia Lynch, aged 14, was last seen at Main Beach, Forster, about 9.30pm yesterday (Friday 23 December 2022).

When she was unable to be located, she was reported missing to officers from Manning-Great Lakes Police District, who commenced inquiries to locate her.

Police and family hold concerns for her welfare.

Sophia is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 165cm tall, of solid build, with short dark brown hair.

She was last seen wearing black shorts and a black t-shirt. Sophia, who may also refer to herself as Kye, is known to frequent Forster including Main Beach and the township.
