Police appeal to locate missing teenager - Tempe

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a teenage boy missing from Sydney's inner west.

Ben Johnson, aged 15, was last seen in Tempe about 5pm today (Saturday 16 September 2023).

When he could not be located or contacted, officers from Inner West Police Area Command were notified at 1am today (Sunday 17 September 2023) and immediately commenced an investigation into his whereabouts.

There are serious concerns for Ben's welfare due to his young age.

Ben is described as Caucasian appearance, 177cm, thin build, hazel eyes and red hair in a mullet style.

He was last seen wearing blue coloured jacket and grey/black tracksuit pants.

Ben is known to frequent the Tempe, Gordon and Seven Hills areas.

Anyone who sees Ben is urged to contact Newtown Police Station or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
